Personal & Professional Background

The BPO journey began at 17 years old in a Manila call center—just a month shy of turning 18. Like many Filipinos, the first job was taken to support college education, with no idea it would ignite a long and meaningful career. That first role, as a Customer Service Representative for Walmart’s e-commerce account, taught the core principles of active listening, empathy, and creative yet compliant problem-solving.

After a year, promotion came in the form of an Operations Validator role, where the responsibility shifted to screening and qualifying applicants for the customer service team. This position required an objective mindset and sharpened an ability to assess talent—skills that would shape future team-building.

The years that followed brought a wide range of opportunities: from crypto and stock consulting for a Palm Beach-based newsletter, to B2B sales at T-Mobile, to retention sales for DISH, and finally, to training support for AVIS and Budget rental cars. Each role added to a growing toolbox of experience across customer experience, sales, retention, and onboarding.

The transition into social media management introduced a new dimension—scaling digital brands. After working with a number of international creators and companies, Terga BPO was launched in 2023, built by reconnecting with trusted BPO colleagues and veterans.
